Terms of Service

Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

Welcome to AAMP — a professional network for the music and entertainment industry. AAMP is operated by AAMP, Inc., a Delaware corporation based in Los Angeles, California. These Terms are a contract between you and AAMP, Inc. ("AAMP," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using AAMP, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use AAMP

You must be at least 13 years old to use AAMP. If you are under 18, you may only use AAMP with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian, and by using AAMP you confirm that you have it. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account. Certain features are limited for members under 18 (see Section 6).

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity on your account. Keep your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information — including an accurate date of birth, which we use to determine which protections apply to your account. You may not impersonate others or create an account for someone else without authorization.

3. What AAMP is (and isn't)

AAMP helps you build a professional profile, connect with other members, share work, and find opportunities. AAMP is not an employer, talent agency, label, or booking service, and does not guarantee any connection, opportunity, job, or outcome. Interactions and agreements between members are solely between those members.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, text, and other content you post ("Your Content"). By posting, you grant AAMP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content for the purpose of operating and providing AAMP. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where we must retain it to comply with law.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to post it, including any music, images, or footage featuring other people. Don't post anything that infringes someone else's rights.

5. Acceptable use

To keep AAMP safe and professional, you agree not to:

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk or harm.

6. Members under 18

We build in extra protections for members under 18. For these accounts:

These protections are applied automatically based on date of birth and are removed when the member turns 18. A parent or guardian may contact us at hello@aamp.app to review, correct, or delete a minor's information.

7. Ending your use

You may stop using AAMP and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect AAMP or its members. Some provisions survive termination, including content licenses others still rely on, and Sections 4, 8, 9, and 10.

8. Disclaimers

AAMP is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that AAMP will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content or connection will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AAMP, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of AAMP. Our total liability for any claim relating to AAMP is limited to [e.g. USD $100].

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE — likely Delaware or California, to be confirmed by counsel], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in [Los Angeles County, California, or Delaware — to be confirmed], unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use AAMP after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
